In my view, artists are activists – or at least, they should be. Art has great power, and in a world that needs all the art it can get, artists have a responsibility to share their talents with their community. Lisa shares insightful articles and blogs from artists across the spectrum, as well as her own reflections on the creative process, finding one's career path, and exercising your passion.
Americans for the Arts is a leading advocacy group that also is doing some of the most interesting research around on audiences, arts funding, and other issues. This is a great site for anyone seeking hard data on the impact of the arts on our economy and in our society.
