Great news, friends! Art, science, and entrepreneurship have come together in a commission for my first Symphony from the Boulder Philharmonic and the Geological Society of America (based in Boulder and celebrating its 125th Anniversary in 2013). I'm so excited to be creating this work inspired by the geology of Colorado and the ways it has shaped our history. I'll be launching a video blog soon to chronicle my process, and I'll be collaborating with the Phil and the GSA in educational, outreach, and engagement activities around the project, creating a living laboratory exploring the artistic and entrepreneurial processes in action.
